Personal Trainer

Certified Senior Fitness Instructor

Our health care system focuses on medications and surgical interventions instead of educating people in lifestyle changes and providing the motivation and encouragement to identify individualized, fun, empowering and achievable fitness and wellness programs.

I help lessen my clients’ chronic pain with movement and
exercise; and work with them on a daily commitment to
balance and strengthening programs to help slow the
progressive neuromuscular disease process. I founded GeriActive to help people learn they can improve the quality of their lives, no matter their age or condition.

Human beings are designed to move, and the more we experience that movement,
the richer and more joyful our lives become.

It was Betsy who got my mother onto the three-wheeled adult tricycle, and the adventures they had—cycling around inside and outside the retirement community buildings and grounds, talking about people and memories and everything under the sun—those adventures were among the very brightest spots in my mother’s last years. Betsy is and will continue to be a beacon and a blessing to all those who are fortunate enough to know her.
