Betsy Phillips is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who has spent her entire career working in the geriatric setting. As the founder of GeriActiveNC, she is deeply committed to helping older adults not just stay active, but truly thrive into their 80s, 90s, and beyond. Her passion for aging well shows up in the thoughtful, individualized care she brings to every client and every session, meeting people where they are and supporting them as they move forward with confidence.
In 2022, Betsy expanded her expertise by becoming a Duke Certified Health and Well-Being Coach, integrating coaching principles into her physical training approach. She continually brings innovative exercise tools and evidence-based strategies into her work, with a strong focus on balance, posture, and functional movement. As the need for GeriActive’s services has grown, Betsy is excited to bring Mary and Justin on board to help expand care—while maintaining the same high standards, personal attention, and trusted approach clients have come to rely on.
